Meet Your Instructors
Founder & CEO
Taylor Ann
Founder and Owner Taylor Ann teaches classes in burlesque, floor work, hair and chair, tap, ballet, lyrical, yoga, and meditation. She created Houston Divine Studio of Arts in 2018 to offer a safe space for adults to explore the freedoms of expression that dance offers. Under her guidance, the studio invites all to “come as you are” into its “judgement-free zone”— two ideas Taylor is so passionate about, she’s made them the core of the studio’s mission.
Taylor began dancing at age four, continuing her classical training throughout adolescence. Upon high school graduation, she immediately began dancing professionally. She now performs burlesque under the moniker Lady AnnaBelle, beginning with The Moonlight Dolls in 2014, and now with The Divine Darlings Burlesque Troupe, which she founded in 2022 from Houston Divine Studio's 11-week burlesque showcase course.
“Dance and movement is a life-changing way to heal both physically and spiritually. I want to provide others with a way to experience that healing, embrace their sensuality, find and appreciate their inner and outer beauty, fall in love with themselves, and connect with their divine selves. I created Houston Divine Studio for exactly these reasons: empowering people and helping them feel self-love.”

Corii
Corii Allen began her dance journey at five years old, learning what movement with music felt like through praise dance, step and cheerleading. She's stayed entrenched in dance throughout her life, from taking up ballet and drill throughout her school years to teaching children's hip hop while studying at Valdosta State University, to creating and teaching her own style of fusion dance, "HipHopLettos."
Throughout her professional career, Corii has had the opportunities to train under industry-staple choreographers such as Sean Bankhead (Normani, Victoria Monet, Missy Elliot), Aliya Janell (Beyoncé, Chris Brown, Nicki Minaj), and Cortland Brown (Doja Cat, SZA, Chloe Bailey). She now serves as creative director and choreographer for local and upcoming artists in the Houston and Atlanta areas.
“I can’t wait to meet you, watching and helping you grow your skills and techniques through healing and feeling!”

Meditation + Health Coaching
Holly
Holly teaches Mindful Meditation at Houston Divine Studio, guiding students through finding peace in the everyday, and love for themselves. A holistic health coach, she draws from that training, her own experiences with mental and physical health, and her personal healing journey to encourage perspective shifts and balance in all areas of life. Holly delights in delight, and tries to incorporate it in everything she does, whether it's work or play, or a little bit of both. She brings that delight to the stage, performing with Lady AnnaBelle (aka Taylor Ann) and The Divine Darlings Burlesque Troupe in shows across Houston.
"Meditation and mindfulness have helped me transform the way I live, from managing stress — a never-ending task for me — to holding kind and empathetic space for those around me. I can't wait to help you find your own transformation!"
